Shutter Speed
1.
Three types of exposures: Short exposures: they are exposures that last generally 1/20th to several seconds.. Medium exposures: Exposures that can last up to a minute. Long exposures: Long exposures that can last infinity long Neutral density filters prevent the amount of light entering a camera allowing for longer exposures of the same intensity. In order to photograph lightning, simply set the camera up in a dry place, hit the shutter button with the cable, and allow for a 5 to 10 minute exposure. Adjust exposure times to frequency of lightning. Star trails are made using long exposures. They are also made using a film camera since they use much less, if any battery at all. Reciprocity failure is when the chemicals n the film fail to produce and image that is similar to the amount of light put into it. Blur
