Keep awasy from flammable gas. Camera can cause explosion.
Imediatly turn of when malfunctioning. It can overhear and smoke.
Keep away from children and infants. Strap can cause suffocation.
Where to find:
Mode Dial: A black thick disk on the top of the camera next to the shutter release. It contains various symbols on the top and has a rough rim.
On/Off: A silver switch that surrounds the shutter release. It is turned counter-clockwise to turn on the camera.
Shutter release: It is surrounded by the shutter release and silver.
Exposure Compensation: When facing the front of the camera. The exposure compensation button is found behind it. with a +/- sign on it.
flash button: The flash can be found on the right side of the camera right where the lens connects to the camera.
view finder: On the back of the camera at the very top is a glass window. This is the viewfinder.
menu: On the top left of the screen on the camera. Under the playback button.
multi selector/ok: The black circle to the right of the screen and the OK button on the bottom of it.
memory card slot cover:From the backside, the cover is on the right side of the camera.
battery cover: It is on the bottom of the camera held on by a latch.
tripod socket: A metal hole on the bottom of the camera that allows it to screw onto tripods.
How do you?
Delete all images? - First turn on the camera and hit the menu button. Scroll up and select the play button category on the screen. Select delete. Select Delete all and select yes.
Set the Image to JPEG Fine?-Hit the menu button and navigate to the shooting menu. Select image quality and select JPEG Fine.
Set the Image Size to Large? - Hit the menu button and go to the shooting menu. Select Image size and select Large.
Set the Mode dial to Auto? - On the black mode dial on the top of the camera, make the green camera align with the gray bar next to the mode dial.
Turn auto Flash off? - Hold the flash button and use the black scroll wheel to switch between option. Select the image that has the flash symbol in a circle with a line through it to turn off the flash.
Set exposure compensation to +/- 0?- Make sure camera is not in auto mode. Hold the exposure compensation key and adjust it with the command wheel.
Check battery charge? If 1 bar or less replace battery - Turn on the camera. On the menu there should be a battery icon with almost 3 pieces inside of it. This indicates battery life. When at 1 piece, turn off camera and replace battery by removing battery cover.
Set the lens to A? - On the side of the lens there is a switch for A and M. Move the lever to be under A to set it.
