1. Why do you think it is a good idea to understand a rule prior to breaking it?
When you break a rule that you understand, you are able to fully utilize what to do and make it more effective. 2. When applying the Rule of Thirds, how many sections do you create? how many intersections? When using the grid you create 9 areas and have 4 intersections. 3. Why does placing the subject at the intersection or along a line feel more natural to the viewer? This makes the photo appear more balanced and since people usually look at these intersections naturally instead of the center of the photo. 4. When photographing a landscape, where should the horizon line be placed? The horizon is best placed on one of the horizon lines of the grid. 5. What are two questions you might want to consider when composing an image?
